Pre Primary Curriculum
The Pre primary curriculum at Anand Niketan Sughad campus has a very child centric holistic approach that includes lot of interactive hands on activities that promotes learning and most importantly creates love for school and learning.
The activities in the pre primary section are planned keeping in mind the unique needs of children and focuses on overall development. The main emphasis is on instilling Values and enhancing their social-emotional and motor skills. Activities like circle time, show & tell, story sessions, role plays, reading, writing, drawing, field trips, music and movement, sand/water play, art & craft activities, outdoor games, free play, movies & videos etc., are incorporated in their daily schedule at regular intervals which plays a pivotal role in their overall development. These engaging activities not only hone their skills but also enable the students to get involved and take charge of their work and learning, helping them to construct their understanding.
Opportunities are created to empower children to demonstrate their understanding and use language in different contexts so that they gain fluency over the language and become more confident. Events and celebrations like Mothers’ day, Fathers’ day, Grandparent’s day, Sports day, Navratri, etc. give a lot of scope to our kids to display their talents and skills in front of an audience. Collaborations (Parent-teacher meetings ) at regular intervals keep the parents updated about the progress of their child and also helps to bridge the gap between home and school.
