Poetry Recitation

'Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words'.

Poetry recitation is that literary work where ideas and feelings, accentuated with rhythm is delivered through a public speaking activity.

Poetry as an art breaks across grammar and syntax to create something new and imaginative for the children. It provides an adventure for the mind.

To enable our students to develop and hone these skills, an online English Poetry Recitation Presentation was organised for grades 5, 6 and 7. It was overwhelming to see our students adapt to the online method easily and participate with enthusiasm and confidence showcasing their love for poetry.
