Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is a day that recognises the essence of motherhood. The children have a special emotional bonding with their mothers and keeping this emotion in mind the pre-primary section of Anand Niketan had a special celebration on Mother’s Day. The day started with the mothers joining their kids for prayer and their Daily warm up class session. The kids and mothers had an identical tattoo following which , the duo had a memorable handprint so as to shape it in the form of a butterfly which was also liked by the mothers as it added to the heartwarming feelings which filled the air with intimacy and love.

If it's a Mother's Day celebration then a Zumba session is a must. Mothers and kids just enjoyed Zumba as it created a balance between fitness and fun. Then mothers and children had a gala time enjoying delicious snacks brought to school in picnic baskets by the mothers.  The program concluded on a joyful note with an anticipation on mother’s faces to come again in such a heart warming event next year too.
