Challenges 2025–2026: India Plays, India Shines
Anand Niketan Sughad came alive with energy, purpose, and celebration as it hosted Challenges 2025–2026, the school’s annual sports extravaganza for students from Grades 5 to 12. More than a display of athletic skills, the event was a spirited expression of unity, resilience, and youthful excellence. Rooted in the idea that play builds both strength and character, the theme India Plays, India Shines captured the joy of movement and the power of collective effort.
The day unfolded with a striking March In, as the four house contingents stepped onto the field with confidence and pride, setting the tone for the celebrations ahead. The Torch Relay Run and the ceremonial lighting of the torch followed, symbolising determination, hope, and the enduring spirit of sportsmanship. Adding a touch of grandeur, the March Past reflected discipline and teamwork, with the debut participation of Grade 8 NCC students marking a memorable milestone.
The Oath Taking Ceremony, led by the House Captains, reaffirmed the core values of fairness, integrity, and respect for the game. A special moment of recognition came through the Sports Achievers’ Relay Run, honouring students who represented the school at district and state levels and those who brought home accolades—an inspiring tribute to commitment and perseverance.
Grace and precision took centre stage with a synchronised Drill Display by students of Grades 5 and 6, beautifully reflecting coordination and unity. This was followed by a series of dynamic athletic events for Grades 5 to 12, where students tested their speed, stamina, and strength, cheering one another on at every step.
The celebrations concluded with the Prize Distribution Ceremony, a jubilant Victory Lap, and the formal closing of the meet—leaving behind memories of triumph, teamwork, and shared joy.
Challenges 2025–2026 was not just a sporting event; it was a celebration of holistic growth, reminding us that through play we build confidence, character, and community—and when we play together, we truly shine together.
