Sharing and Growing session for parents of Pre-Primary Section.

In an endeavor to bridge the gap between home and school, a Sharing and Growing session was organized on Saturday, 20th July, on literacy skills for the parents of our Pre Primary section. The school methodologies were shared through interactive sessions and innovative games. A power point presentation on Phonics gave a clear picture to the parents on how reading and writing skills are enhanced. The session gave an insight to the parents on how their kids learn in the classroom. The motive behind this session was to enable parents to help their children at home in the way they learn at school. The parents were very excited to see the varied teaching aids and techniques used in the classroom to support learning. It was a treat to see the parents trying to use different manipulatives and enthusiastically play the games designed for their children. It was indeed a great teaching and learning experience.
