Trip to Serenity Garden Grade 5 2025-2026
Our school organized an educational field trip for Grade 5 to Serenity Garden to give students a hands-on learning experience with nature. The students were divided into two groups for better engagement and learning. The groups were guided by Santosh Sir and Vandana Ma’am, who made the experience enriching and interactive.
During the visit, the students gained deep knowledge about various types of plants and their importance. They also learned about the life cycle of a butterfly, observing nature closely to understand each stage.
Following this, students were briefed about various medicinal plants and their benefits. They were shown different plants used in traditional remedies and taught how these natural resources support our health and well-being.
The concept of pollination was also introduced in a fun and engaging way. Students learned how pollination helps in the growth of new plants. To support this learning, an interactive activity was conducted where students pasted and labelled the different parts of a flower in their notebooks.
The trip was a great blend of education and experience. It helped students relate textbook knowledge to the natural world around them, leaving them more curious, aware and appreciative of nature’s wonders.
