Republic day celebration 2024-25
The Indian Republic signifies a nation built on the principles of democracy, justice, and equality. Every year on January 26th, we celebrate the adoption of the Indian Constitution in 1950, marking the country’s transition into a sovereign republic.
This day is a celebration of our unity in diversity, our strength in democratic principles, and our commitment to the ideals of liberty and fraternity. It serves as a reminder to our young students that they are part of a great nation that values each individual’s dreams and aspirations.
At Anand Niketan Sughad, we take immense pride in commemorating this day with enthusiasm and patriotism. This year, on January 26th, the event began with the unfurling of the national flag, followed by the national anthem, instilling a sense of pride and respect among students and staff. Inspirational speeches and cultural performances were conducted to highlight the significance of the day.
A proud moment for our school was the cultural performance held at Gandhinagar’s Ram Katha Maidan, where Anand Niketan Sughad competed with various other schools from Gandhinagar and secured first place. The performance was highly appreciated by the Chief Guest, the Hon’ble Home Minister of Gujarat, Mr. Harsh Sanghavi.
Republic Day is not just about celebrating our past but also about reflecting on our responsibilities as citizens. It reminds us to uphold the values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity, as enshrined in our Constitution. Let us take this opportunity to renew our commitment to building a stronger, more inclusive India.
Jai Hind!
