Mother's Day 2024 at Anand Niketan Sughad

The bond of mother and child is inexplicable and to celebrate this bond, Mother’s Day is celebrated every year at Anand Niketan Sughad. This year also the celebration was filled with joy, enthusiasm, and creativity. Learners of K1, K2, and Pre-K, along with their mothers, participated in various activities over several days to honour the special bond they share.

On 18th September, K1 students kicked off the festivities with a lively passing the ring game, followed by an energetic dance session where the children and their mothers danced together to some fun dance songs. Followed by dance they did palm printing and best-out-of-waste activity, showcasing the creativity and teamwork of the mother-child duos.

K2 students celebrated Mother’s Day on 19th and 20th September in which the highlight was a Little Chef Activity. The mother-child pairs prepared a variety of fireless dishes like healthy chaat, bread cakes, bhakhri pizza, vegetable sandwiches, and chocolate pinwheels. It was a delightful sight to see both moms and their little ones working together to create delicious treats, and the joy of the celebration was visible on everyone's faces.

Lastly, on 23rd September, the Pre-K students and their mothers embraced the day with a series of fun games such as pulling the ring, lemon spoon race, and moonwalk, which energized the entire event. The nature walk followed, where mothers and kids made a creative collage using collectibles from the walk, adding a unique touch to the celebration. The day ended with cheerful smiles, leaving everyone looking forward to more such memorable celebrations in the future.

Each event beautifully captured the essence of the bond between mother and child, leaving lasting memories for both.
