Grandparents Day 2024 - 2025

Grandparents Day at Anand Niketan Sughad was joyously celebrated on the 11th and 12th of February 2025 for Pre-K, K1, and K2 students. Invitations were sent out a month in advance, ensuring that grandparents, especially those traveling from afar, had ample time to plan their visit.

Child’s real education begins at home, where family—especially grandparents—play a pivotal role in instilling discipline, values, and love. This special day was dedicated to honoring their selfless contributions and strengthening the bond between generations.

The celebration was brimming with blessings, excitement, and heartfelt moments. Grandparents arrived dressed in vibrant attire, adding to the festive atmosphere. The program commenced with a serene Shloka recitation by the little ones, followed by a graceful prayer dance. Laughter and joy filled the air as grandparents enthusiastically participated in a fun-filled “Guess the Song” and “Guess the Movie” game. The highlight of the event was a delightful dance performance by the children to evergreen melodies, evoking nostalgia and joy.

As the day drew to a close, children lovingly presented their grandparents with handmade takeaways, created specially for the occasion. Overwhelmed with emotion, many grandparents expressed their wish to have such celebrations twice a year, further emphasizing the invaluable role they play in their grandchildren’s lives.

The event was truly a heart warming tribute to the timeless bond between grandparents and grandchildren, leaving everyone with cherished memories to hold onto.
