Ganpati Celebration 2024
Ganesh Chaturthi is a Hindu festival celebrating the birth of Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles. Despite being a religious celebration, Ganesh Chaturthi also serves as an event that brings people together in joy and reverence. The Ganpati celebration was held at Anand Niketan Sughad from 7th September to 17th September. Lord Ganesha’s idol graced our campus for 10 days, showering blessings on staff and students.
Every day at 10:30 a.m., students from different classes performed aarti and offered prayers to the deity. The entire school was immersed in religious sentiments, with children chanting “Ganpati Bappa Morya” and the atmosphere buzzed with euphoria.
Finally, as a grand culmination of the 10-day festival, it was time for visarjan. The idol of Lord Ganesha was carried through all the floors of the school as part of the farewell procession before being immersed in a pool of water. Everyone was present to seek Lord Ganesha’s blessings and eagerly anticipated his return next year.
