Christmas celebration

Christmas celebration is the time to celebrate with loved ones and exchange gifts. Every year, we at Anand Niketan sughad engage in Christmas celebrations by singing the Christmas carols and then sharing delectable kitchen snacks with each other. This year a Christmas tree was decorated in the hope that Santa Claus will come and will shower them with presents and blessings. Santa Claus came and mingled with the children. They were distributed sweets and had a group photograph with Santa. Then they had their favourite party snacks in their class. Christmas reminds us the importance of giving and sharing with friends and family . Through Christmas, We know that the birth of Lord Jesus is the symbol of new beginnings. The popularity of the festival across people of different faiths is a great unifier. This was the best way to end the year and welcome another year with the outstretched arms. The children carried home the message of sharing and caring as well as the pleasure and pride of spreading peace, true to the spirit of the celebration.
